It’s finally happening! The Crystal Lake Condominium project is beginning site development! This has been a 20-year vision for Lake Mary resident and local Chiropractor, Dr. Lois Somerville. Over the past 20 years, Lois has purchased every home down the street from her Chiropractic office at 115 W Wilbur Ave, down to Fourth St.
The five residential lots have four old homes on them, and after three years of site plans, rezoning, and City of Lake Mary planning approval, Lois received the approval she had been working for. The Crystal Lake Condo project was greenlighted to enhance the vibrant downtown community she loves by creating a small boutique residential condo complex, close to everything, that will improve homeowners' quality of life.
The City, Commissioners, and Mayor have expressed excitement at elevating the neighborhood and providing low-maintenance luxury housing for those looking to live the downtown Lake Mary lifestyle.
Groundbreaking is expected with fanfare in December/January 2026. Lois allowed the fire department and police department to practice on the to-be-demolished homes, scheduled for demolition in December.
